Eligibility -

a) One should be permanent Resident of J&K State
 
b) One should be a member of Scheduled Castes category
 
c) One should have the Annual family income below the Poverty Line (BPL), i.e. Rs.40500/= p.a. for Rural and Rs.51500/= p.a. for Urban areas (notified by the Govt. of India from time to time).
 
d) One should not be a defaulter of any financial institution.
 
e) One should not have already availed the benefit of subsidy.
 
f) One should having necessary skill/ experience in the activity/ trade applied for.
 
Feature -
a) The Scheduled Castes category persons who are permanent resident of J&K State, living Below the Poverty Line(BPL) and are not defaulters of any financial institution can avail this scheme, to establish the income generating unit costing upto Rs.1.00 Lac.
 
b) The corporation sponsors loan proposals of eligible persons to various banks in accordance with the “SERVICE AREA APPROACH” for financing.
 
c) The corporation provides subsidy upto 50% of the project cost subject to maximum Rs. 10000/- per beneficiary under Special Central Assistance (SCA) to Scheduled Caste Sub- Plan(SCSP) and rest of the amount of unit cost is the Bank Loan.
