1) Objective -
a) To provide clothing items to the all S.C. people of this Union Territory.
2) Eligibility -
a) Whose names are included in the yellow/red ration card supplied by the Civil Supplies Department
b) Age shall not be less than 18 years.
c) Continuous residence in the U.T of Pondicherry for not less than 5 years.
d) Caste certificate from the competent authority.
3) Feature -
a) Each male member of the family is supplied with a lungi and shirt bit, and each female member is supplied with a saree and a blouse on two occasions i.e during Deepavali and Pongal festivals.
